Cultural heritage apprentice vacancy at the surfing museum

added to the website on Jul 19, 2014

The Museum of British Surfing is creating a fantastic opportunity for young people interested in working in the museums & heritage sector with a new apprenticeship post.

This new position will give real hands-on experience and an industry recognised qualification to the successful applicant, working towards a Cultural and Heritage Venue Operations Apprenticeship with our learning provider Plymouth College of Art.

The surfing museum prides itself on excellent customer service and giving our thousands of visitors a fun and rewarding experience and this new role will be at the heart of everything that this vibrant North Devon heritage attraction does.

The Museum of British Surfing is a registered charity working towards formal Arts Council England accreditation, and this is a perfect opportunity to gain invaluable experience in all aspects of museum operation. It is hoped that the apprenticeship will lead to a permanent job at the Museum of British Surfing, which is based in Braunton near the North Devon coast.

Your application will be processed through the Apprentices website and Plymouth College of Art – to apply follow the instructions by downloading this PDF document: Museum of British Surfing apprentice vacancy
