By the 1980s when this leash was made, they were pretty much like the ones we use today – but perhaps not quite as strong and ‘hi tech’. They could easily become quite brittle & snap, just when you didn’t want them to!

Tiki started life in South Wales in 1967 before Tim Heyland and Dave Smith hopped across the Bristol Channel to Braunton in North Devon.
