A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO SURFING is an original “How to surf guide” printed by Charles Pearce & Son ltd in the early 1960s.
This is an 8 page booklet that claims to be the handiest guide for the amateur to get the best from surfing. They were written back in the days when people were primarily bellyboarding or “surf-riding” on wooden boards.
The booklet may be the best part of 60 years old, but still offers some excellent advice on choosing a board and catching the waves. The techniques are as relevant today as they were back then.
These would have been originally sold or given away with the Dick Pearce boards.
The booklet is approx 10.5 x 16.5cm
The booklets are NOS and in excellent condition considering their age but some of the staples show signs of rusting.
These are highly collectable booklets and a must for any vintage bellyboard collection, or as a gift to anyone that is interested in bellyboarding.
