A NIGHT WITH TED DEERHURST

The Museum of British Surfing is proud to host the Ted Deerhurst exhibition for this year only, celebrating the life of Britain’s first pro surfer and “Lord of the Board” Ted Deerhurst.

To launch the exhibition, you are invited to “A Night with Ted Deerhurst” on Friday 17th May 7.30 pm at the Museum of British Surfing, Braunton

It is going to be an informal night with guest speakers including:

ANDY MARTIN, World famous author, Ted’s biographer and author of Surf, Sweat and Tears: The Epic Life and Mysterious Death of Edward George William Omar Deerhurst

PAUL “Blackie” BLACKER, legendary shaper and Ted Deerhurst mentor.

DUNCAN COVENTRY, Ted’s cousin and curator of the Ted Deerhurst archives.

The evening will include films, conversations, Q&A and a bar.

Tickets £10 (includes a free Single Fin Collective Giclée A5 size art print)

The museum will be open for you to view the Ted Deerhurst exhibition in the company of the guest speakers and merchandise will be available to purchase.

NOTE: physical tickets won’t be issued. We’ll have a record of your booking.
