Charity auction raises £1,000 for surfing museum

Congratulations to Matt Kingdom from Plymouth, the winner of the Museum of British Surfing surfboard auction that helped to raise £1,000 of much needed funds for the charity.

Matt dropped by the museum in Braunton, North Devon, to pick up the wonderful Bing ‘4-Speed’ longboard – signed by Bing Copeland himself – and donated by 1960s surfing legend Tony Cope to launch our winter fundraising appeal to help develop our programme of events and education activities.

You can also support our appeal by making an online donation through our website and if you’re a UK tax payer Gift Aid will automatically be added: please donate here.
