Mid 1920s Woollen Swimming Trunks donated to the Museum of British Surfing

The sun is shining here in Devonshire for the Easter holidays, it’s lovely and warm and the sea is starting to warm up, so time to break out your woollen swimming trunks.

These have been generously donated by volunteer Andrew Haworth to the Museum collection. They were his grandfathers from the mid 1920s.

Come along to the Museum of British Surfing and immerse yourself in the rich heritage and culture of British surfing.

We are open 11am to 3pm all through the Easter holidays.

You can also keep up to date on all things Museum related by following us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and our new website.
