New eco-friendly Orca Tail Fishing Net Bracelets in Stock!

New in stock – an addition to the very popular range of Orca tail fishing net bracelets.

These beautiful bracelets have been made from recycled lobster pot net recovered from the River Yealm, South Devon. The tails are 100% stainless steel and so allergy free (no nickle). Unlike similar silver plated charms this won’t tarnish in the surf so keeping its shine.

Each bracelet is made by designer Jane Watts (Another Shed Production) hand whipped with waxed thread.

Discarded fishing nets can take 600 years to decay so these will last you a lifetime! Wear one and help to highlight the issues of discarded fishing gear and the negative effect on our oceans and rivers.

They will be available to buy in the museum shop or online from Friday.

The Museum is open 11am to 3pm daily (except Mondays). And don’t forget we have got the surf jumble on Saturday 27th April.
