Dads go free on Father’s Day!

Give your dad a treat this Father’s Day and bring him along to the Museum of British Surfing – free when accompanied by children – cowabunga!

Yes, on Sunday June 16th 2013 all fathers, grandfathers, even great grandfathers can come in for nothing so long as they have ‘the kids’ with them. Normal admission charges apply to other visitors/family members.

You can soak up the atmosphere in our wonderful new exhibition Sixties SURFER! Check out the massive original Malibu boards, amazing baggies, the first wetsuits and wax… all while listening to the sounds of swinging ’60s surf music. It is a great location for all the family, with fun children’s activities and lots for surfing dads too!

Plus we have a great range of unique Father’s Day gifts in the surfing museum shop if you’re looking for a present for your surfing dad. The new mugs featuring the Sixties SURFER! logo are now in, surf museum t-shirts, the awesome Endless Winter film on DVD, plus special books and much more.

We’re open from 11am to 4pm on Sundays, and located in the main Caen Street car park in Braunton – and even the parking is free on Sundays!
